Third Party Commissions
Sometimes a third party commission is given on media bookings. This is accounted for as a cost on the media booking/job.
The commission is either a % of the gross or a % of the net.
Media suppliers address book record has field “Third-party comm percentage” - this default % is used when calculating third party commission; however, if you wish you can use a different % when the media plan is created.
Step 1 Add default third party media commission percentage for media supplier
Step 2 Create a media plan
Step 3 Change job status to "live"
Do this by clicking on the Make job live button.
Step 4 Create 3rd Party Commission
Click on the Add 3rd party commission button in the media plan screen.
The completed Third Party Commission line shows up in the Media plan after saving.
Step 5 Create Purchase Order
Click on the Create PO(s) button to create the Purchase order. Select media spots to create POs
