New employees onboarding Overview

This overview will give you step by step instructions on how to onboard employees in JobBag. 

We recommend that you work your way from the top to bottom of this list


How to add new employees into the address book

Navigate to JobBag > address book > employee worklist > New

Note: You only need the first and last name of the new employee to start and save a new employee record.

How to add employment/salary information

Navigate to JobBag > address book > employee worklist > employee name > employment tab

How to create a JobBag user name and Password

Navigate to File > Administration > User maintenance > New

Provide instructions about how they can complete their Tax Declaration via their myGov account

Note:  In your welcome pack/personal details form, you will need to provide your ABN and employment status (full time, part time, casual).

How to retrieve employees tax and super information electronically from the ATO

Note: New employees should provide you with a PDF version of the employee tax and super details.

How to process a new employees first payslip

Note: This should be done as a manual Payslip
